Funeral flowersFlowers are traditionally the most silent but visible sign of your emotion and respect. After the funeral, if desired, the flowers can be taken to the destination of your choice, for example the nursing home in which your loved one spent many years or to a family grave in a local churchyard or cemetery at no extra cost to you. Flowers can be ordered at any of our offices and will be thoughtfully put together by our in house florist. Click here to view sympathy flowers and floral tributes Our offices will be happy to receive flowers prior to the funeral. These flowers will be kept in our flower terrace bay where they will be recorded with particular care. Normally the immediate flowers are placed on the coffin and there is usually room for of a medium size. It is helpful to us if you could kindly indicate these tributes in advance so we might identify them more easily. Following a burial it is usual that the flowers remain on the soil mound. After the cremation service our staff will lay the flowers out in the Flower Loggia for you to look at the various tributes. In both cases the staff will remove the message cards and present them to you in a booklet along with a Polaroid photograph and a flower from your tribute for you to keep. If a death occurs then please feel free to contact us at any time, 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Call your local branch during office hours and use our FREEPHONE number out of hours - 0800 17 42 20.
